ARTISANS

I have always loved traveling and started photography just to document the amazing places I had visited. After some time I wanted to learn more so I joined an online photo sharing website and was inspired by the images of others I saw there to see photography more than just a documentary medium but rather as an art. I began to grasp the potential of editing images rather than presenting them straight from eh camera which until then I had seen as somehow cheating. This shift in thinking led me to take classes and learn a lot about photography and editing, especially digital photography which was a natural fit for me given my past jobs in the computer field.

Growing up in southern California, our family has always gone on vacations to the San Bernardino mountains and for awhile we had a cabin in Lake Arrowhead, of which we have fond memories of, so being with Artisans is a natural fit for me. I am very fortunate that they say the potential in me and let me display my artwork in the gallery, in addition to doing this website.
